FastingMid stream urine sample should be collected after proper cleaning of the urinary area. In case of catheterized patients, urine sample should be collected by needle aspiration aseptically through the yellow part of catheter after proper cleaning (Urine samples should never be collected from the urinary bag) or by supra-pubic aspiration.
